About Us

Huntingdonshire Beekeepers’ Association (HBKA) has been in existence for over 130 years. It was formed in 1882 and is a not-for profit organisation run by volunteers. There are over 100 members and the association boundaries range from Ramsey to the Staughtons.  We don’t have an office or HQ so we use the apiary at Hinchingbrooke Country Park, Huntingdon as a meeting point and hold events in the apiary and the parks’ Countryside Centre. We also sell honey and beeswax at the park cafe, run beginners beekeeper courses, give talks, provide demonstrations and host groups in the apiary.  Contact us to find out more.
