Beeswax is a natural wax produced by honeybees and used to construct honey comb, in which honeybees raise their brood and store honey.
The worker bees produce flakes of wax from glands on the underside of their abdomen and use their mandibles to shape it into the honeycomb pattern we are familiar with.
